Dulwich College Yangon
Dulwich College Yangon is an academically selective, coeducational independent school offering an enhanced version of the English National Curriculum.
Dulwich College Yangon Pun Hlaing campus opened in August 2016 and is the first international school in Myanmar with a direct link to a renowned British independent school in the UK. Beginning in 2017, the College will operate across two campuses, with the second campus due to open in August 2017 at the Star City residential development in Thanylin district.
The College currently provides for students from Toddler to Year 8 (age 2 to 13). In each subsequent year, the College will open an additional year group to build a full Senior School with classes up to Year 13 (age 18).
The Pun Hlaing campus consists of our DUCKS (Early Years) school with classes from Toddler to Year 2 (for children age 2 to 7), Junior School for Years 3 to 5 (for children age 7 to 10), and Middle School for Years 6 to 8 (for students age 10 to 13). The structure of the Middle School will support both the academic and pastoral needs of our students, allowing the Year 6 children to receive extra specialist teaching in this important transition year. On finishing Year 8, the Pun Hlaing students are automatically guaranteed a place in Year 9 at our Star City campus. The Star City campus will include a DUCKS (Early Years) school with classes from Toddler to Year 2 (for children age 2 to 7), Junior School for Years 3 to 6 (for children age 7 to 11), and Senior School for Years 7 to 13 (for children age 12 to 18).
State-of-the-art facilities across both campuses include a 500-seat performing arts centre, a 350-seat black box theatre, science laboratories, art and design studios, libraries, gymnasia, 2-metre and 50-metre swimming pools, and sports fields. The College campuses are set in landscaped sites of more than 12 acres in Pun Hlaing and more than 20 acres at the Star City development.
